I haven’t – I was quite tempted at one point on doing one about meteorites because they’re pretty cool – they’re like little time machines which tell us how the solar system formed and the potential for life spreading through the galaxy. In the end I decided a PhD would narrow my learning more than I wanted to at the time – I wanted to learn about lots of different things rather than focus on a very specialised area. I had also just finished 4 years of studying and didn’t fancy another 3 years at that point (I can almost feel all the medical doctors here shaking their head in horror at the lazy engineer!)
