My job in Antarctica involved running tests and gather data for medical experiments to see how our body and psychology adapts to extreme living conditions. That is, i had to collect blood samples from myself and the rest of the crew, distribute questionnaires, run tests on computers as well as other experimental devices and sensors, collect ice samples from outside and perform some early analysis of all the results. The most important part was perhaps to keep the rest of the crew motivated to participate, since taking part in the medical experiments is a voluntary task!
